VOLUNTEERS and Art in the High Desert

Art in the High Desert is a juried fine arts and crafts festival, produced by active show artists and invested local arts advocates through a non-profit organization. We are all volunteers. It’s all of us working together that makes this community event happen and gives it a special Bend touch.

Interested in volunteering?
As a volunteer you may be greeting and dealing with the public. You may want to help artists set up or take down their booth. Or maybe site support seems more to your liking: set up and arranging tables at the Taste of the Old Mill, resupplying water jugs and cups in the dispensers. You may want to help prepare and serve “early start” morning refreshments to artists in the Hospitality area before the festival opens. An artist may need relief coverage in their booth while they take a break. Lots of possibilities. All are important.
