On the banks of the Deschutes River, across from The Old Mill District. Bend, Oregon. Festival Site. Bend sits just east of Oregon’s Cascade is a neighbor to the Deschutes, Metolius, and Crooked Rivers. Numerous lakes, streams, mountains, and golf courses, provide an outdoor recreation haven for visitors and residents of Central Oregon. The upscale shopping center of Shops at the Old Mill and the city of Bend, are a natural attraction for the visitors to the areas premier destination resorts. Art in the High Desert is joining a growing and energetic community of art lovers. The festival is produced by a group of Bend area artists and art advocates through a non-profit
community-based organization.
